At the school, itself is very impressive, with pretty thatched roofs and amazing tropical gardens framing your learning experience. You can also enjoy lots of extra activities and excursions alongside your classes, such as horseback riding, windsurfing, snorkelling and other water activities, yoga, movie sessions in Spanish to help improve your language, cooking classes to help you master the delicious traditional Mexican cuisine, beach volleyball and trips out and around the city. You will be pleased to hear that there is also a free wireless internet connection, so you are more than able to stay in touch with everyone back at home without having to rack up a huge phone bill!

Playa del Carmen Spanish Institute offers a different methodology to other language schools. The school offers to learn in a total immersion experience. Our lessons are not held in traditional classrooms but in different locations in Playa del Carmen such as art galleries, local cafes, restaurants, Mayan ruins, caves, etc. We split the class in grammar and conversation and have different levels. Students receive a certificate of course completion after taking the course. We are the only Spanish School in Playa del Carmen completely run by locals! 100% Mexican. All our locations are central in Playa del Carmen, in downtown. Please note we limit age so we can have a dynamic class.

Our beautiful school building is located just one and a half blocks away from the beach and half a block away from Playa del Carmen’s famous 5th avenue. The school has 10 spacious classrooms, all with air conditioning to ensure that you are comfortable and can concentrate on your classes. We also have a beautiful garden where you can have lunch or relax while you check your email. Wifi is, of course, included. If you need to print your flight tickets, feel free to use our computer area. Our staff are friendly and always happy to help.
