It is also very much a student city with a whole mix of nationalities many of whom study at one of the two universities in the city. Being the cruise capital of Europe, Southampton has over four million visitors every year and offers fantastic cultural experiences from the Seacity Museum, Award-winning parks, quality theatres, and music venues to the modern shopping centre at West Quay.

The Lewis School of English is located in the centre of Southampton, a dynamic student city on the south coast, 75 minutes from London. We are located opposite a beautiful park and next to Southampton Solent University. Established in 1976, we are a friendly school offering a wide range of courses led by creative and professional teachers. Facilities include two Mac computer rooms and free wi-fi access, a nursery, a coffee room, and garden patios with table tennis. We run an active social activities programme and welcome over 50 nationalities per year. We are accredited by the British Council and ISI, and we are members of Quality English and English UK - a reflection of our high quality standards. We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
