תאור הקורס

Our General English focuses on teaching English which is needed for everyday life in the U.K. and also serves as a steppingstone to the study of International English Language Testing System (IELTS) & Cambridge English exam preparation and higher education purposes. Although we use the Cambridge English Course book for the basis of our lessons. You will be taught the important skills of speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar, vocabulary and spelling. we use a wide variety of teaching media including: newspapers/magazines, radio, video and the Internet.

You want to improve your English level part-time and effectively while gaining confidence

What can you expect on this course?

This course will teach you how to use English in real-life situations. You will develop your understanding of grammar, vocabulary and idioms, while learning the secrets of perfect pronunciation. Through interesting and engaging lessons, you will practise the four skills of everyday English: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Improve your fluency, confidence and conversation skills with our most popular course! Give yourself a practical understanding of the English language.

Liverpool is a vibrant, iconic, and cultural European destination and is know for it's friendliness and humour, which you will love! Apart from the famous Cavern Club, Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs this city has more galleries and museums than any other UK city outside London and are open all year-round. We have theatres and music events, a nightlife scene suitable for all ages and excellent shopping areas throughout the city and surrounding areas. Liverpool also gives easy access to other towns and cities to explore.
We are within easy walking distance to the train and bus stations as we're situated in the business quarter 5 minutes walk from Liverpool One shopping centre.

"Amazing experience that I'll never forget"

I liked everything about my experience from start of finish! My teacher was so lovely and made the classes really fun yet challenging so we would learn more, my classmates were all so nice and I got to meet so many nice people in those 12 weeks. I would certainly repeat. From the beginning I felt comfortable and I improved my level thanks to personalized and enjoyable classes. I have been in the academy for several months and I finally have the confidence to take a level exam.

The price is not expensive and at all times they have been flexible in terms of schedules.

visa

עזרה בקבלת ויזה

אנחנו לא יכולים להגיש מסמכים לבקשת ויזה בשם הסטודנט. אך בית ספר יכול לספק את כל המסמכים הנדרשים לך, כדי לעזור בהגשת בקשתך לויזה.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from IELA. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 35 when you register.
